Political Involvement

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the months of February, March, April, June, September, and October. In November, the meeting will be on the last Tuesday so that those members traveling to visit family for Thanksgiving, won't miss out! We meet in the downstairs meeting room of The Fallston Barrel House, 2403 Bel Air Road, Fallston, MD 21047. Our meetings generally begin at 6:30 P.M., but we encourage guests to arrive early if they wish to order from the menu.
EventsWe have a Members-Appreciation New Year celebration in January. We hold various fundraising events, including our signature "Wine, Dine and Unwind". We have Mixers and social opportunities for our members to mingle and meet like-minded neighbors.

Whenever possible, we provide opportunities to learn about local and state issues, candidates for local and state offices, and information for those who wish to get more involved in campaigns. Our proximity to Washington D.C. gives us access to some interesting sources that can enlighten us to happenings in our nation's Capital. We send out regular email newsletters to report on activities and local events.
Candidate SupportWe have events to raise funds for candidates for local offices. Members who are considering a political campaign are encouraged to be involved with our organization so that they can qualify for potential campaign funding during the years when the gubernatorial elections are held.

We are growing and becoming a regional organization
The Republican Alliance is one of the largest and fastest-growing local GOP organizations in the state of Maryland. Founded in 1990, we are led by local volunteers who care about the political climate of our community and who wish to meet more similar-leaning conservatives. We have regular meetings where we introduce our members to speakers and topics of current interest while providing a comfortable social atmosphere. We have many local elected officials that are members and attend our events. We encourage our members to become more involved in the community in a variety of ways -- everything from being better informed to volunteering or even running for office, whatever works for each individual.
